About:

Celebrating the month of love & romance, we talked about SEA historical romance, ‘Showers of Luck’ with the author, Nadia Ayesha (@splendourit). Inspired by a true story, ‘Showers of Luck’ follows the life of two characters, Lily, a young nyonya who stays with a distant aunt’s family and Khalid, her Muslim neighbour and crush 👀❤️

We talked with Nadia, not only about ‘Showers of Luck’ (how she started it, how long it took her to write it and what kind of research she did during the writing process) but also about writer’s block (Nadia shared some tips!), how to start writing, and also some of her favorite SEA authors.
